Wanderings between centre and periphery, city and country-side, past and present: An edgeland in many respects, Turnhout entices to make a detour. Sideways sets up camp at the former workman's houses known as the ‘Klein Engelandhoeve’. Expect a diverse weekend program, including artists curated by the Verbeke Foundation, an open air film screening and a number of activities that examine the cultural significance of stillness and silence.

Accessibility: Klein Engelandhoeve is situated in the green north of Turnhout. > MAP. You can rent a bike at the railway station of Turnhout. Sideways as well organises transport between the railway station and Klein Engelandhoeve (more details will appear on the website)

Shuttle bus
Sideways organises a shuttle bus between the Parking Stadspark (on walking distance from the trainstation of Turnhout: Papenbruggestraat , 2300 Turnhout) and the venue, Klein Engelandhoeve. This shuttle bus drives from 13:00 till after the film screening. The schedule of the shuttle bus on Saturday and Sunday is:
